The plant commenced its operations in 1951 as PaĹstwowy OĹrodek Maszynowy (POM). For about 40 years, the company primarily focused on repairing and renovating agricultural machinery. In 1992-1996, first as PrzedsiÄbiorstwo WyrobĂłw Metalowych Metpol Sp. z o.o. and then as the Metal Products Factory METPOL, it commenced the production of steel structures. During the same period, a forge was also launched, significantly expanding the plant’s range to include products for the mining industry.
In 1996 METPOL joined as one of the four branches to the company HOLDING-ZREMB GorzĂłw S.A., established in 1994, which, since 2023, together with ZREMB-GorzĂłw sp. z o. o. forms the ZREMB-GORZĂW Corporate Group.
Currently, METPOL-BARLINEK Branch has approximately 75 employees.
The leading product range is welded and bolted steel structures for the engineering and energy industries.
